1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small files that websites store in your browser. Among other things, they keep you signed in or remember preferences. Some are essential for the service to work ("technical" cookies); others require your consent.
2. Cookies Used by SportanPlay
2.1 Technical cookies (no consent required)
These are strictly necessary to provide the service you request. Under Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE (and the equivalent ePrivacy rules), they do not require consent:

These cookies are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.
2.2 Cookieless analytics
To understand aggregate usage of the Platform we use Umami, an analytics tool that uses no cookies or persistent identifiers: it does not store IP addresses, cannot identify individual users, and does not track across sites. It therefore requires no consent and does not appear in the table above.
SportanPlay only uses the technical cookies described in section 2.1. That is why you will not see any cookie consent banner on the Platform.
3. Managing Cookies
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note that blocking technical cookies will prevent signing in or staying signed in to SportanPlay.
4. Changes to This Policy
Any change in our use of cookies will be published here with its update date. Should cookies requiring consent be introduced in the future (e.g., identifier-based analytics or advertising cookies), consent will be requested via the corresponding banner before they are set.
